Michael Beinhorn has lived his life in the pursuit of artistic expression, first as a visual artist, then as a performer, and finally as a record producer.

Coming in at Number 9 on Rolling Stone’s greatest Grunge Albums is Soundgarden’s 1994 release “Superunknown” featuring guest host, from the Pods & Sods Podcast, Eric Miller. Eric and Bakko talk about the making of the record, the genius of Chris Cornell and go track by track.

Mark Yarm, author of the book Everybody Loves Our Town: An Oral History Of Grunge, joins the program to share stories from his book and talk about the musical movement that was Grunge.

Mark is the contributing features editor and podcast host/producer at Input, a site about technology and culture. In addition, he has written for the New Yorker, the New York Times, Wired, WSJ. Magazine, and Rolling Stone and am the author of Everybody Loves Our Town: An Oral History of Grunge, a Time magazine book of the year.

Coming in at No. 10 on Rolling Stone’s Greatest Grunge Albums List is Pearl Jam’s 1993 release VS. Joining Bakko on the episode of Whatever, Nevermind is the host of Pods & Sods Craig Smith.
