Ep 57: KISS – The Elder – 35th Anniversary: Side 2 Part two of the Music from the Elder retrospective has Rob Kern and Bakko breaking down side two. Bakko is also joined by Kissfaq Podcast host and co-author of Odyssey: Music From The Elder Book Julian Gill who shares his thoughts on the record and shares the motivation behind writing a 500 page book on the matter. Not only do Bakko and Rob do a track by track analysis of side 2, we do some Gene Simmons word association, suggest that maybe Ace Frehley invented Purple Drank 35 years ago to deal with this record and offer what they feel should have been Morpheus’ response when “the Elder” asked him if he still feels “the Boy” is worthy of the fellowship. Strap in because part two of the Elder retrospective takes you places you never thought you’d go regarding Music from the Elder.

Ep 56: You like KISS? You like grown men talking about KISS? You’re in luck. With the 35th anniversary of “Music From the Elder.” Bakko and special co-host Rob Kern of “Loud, Drunk & Angry” go all in on KISS’ most polarizing record. Do you hate this record? Do you love it? Have you ever wondered what ‘Just A Boy’ would sound like if sung by Bret Michaels? If so your wish has been granted. KISS Music from the Elder examined as such Cobras and Fire deem proper.

Ep 55: Political Erectness – Bakko & LC meet in Denver for the first time in person (no Skype) and debate issues of the election like the right time to “grab her by the pussy” and play songs that make our flags rise. No serious views or talk, just ridiculousness and rock. Plus Viking Metal, Orks and recent Megadeth and Clutch concerts we attended together, separately. Music featured:

Black Sabbath
Spinal Tap
Clutch
2 Live Crew
Extreme
Vains of Jenna
Warrant
Extreme
Soundgarden
Body Count
